Creativity and innovation in education

Workshop

Creativity and innovation must be concrete and manageable concepts based on sound knowledge and professional skills that students already possess. Innovation is found in everything from processes to methods, teaching, homework and learning.

In this workshop you will get a thorough review of - and introduction to, how to use creativity and innovation in all school subjects and class tasks - tasks for small groups, partner work, as well as to the individual student.
The workshop is practical. You will be an important part of the process, both as an active participant, but also contributing to knowledge and sharing your experience.
The workshop includes:
• Small oral and practical tasks.
• Major theoretical and practical problem-solving tasks.
• A thorough theoretical foundation that helps to implement the practical tasks in your daily teaching.

A number of theoretical and practical elements, we will enter:
• What does it mean to be creative and innovative
• Can you learn to be more or less creative / innovative
• Can you be creative and innovative in all subjects and at all grade levels
• How do you apply your knowledge and skills in the creative and innovative process.
• Brain do's, Brain feed's, Energizers, Icebreakers, how can you use it
• Why is it important to learn to use your creativity and innovation skills.

At the workshop you will be challenged on your professionalism, your concept of knowledge as well as your personality. Once the workshop is finished, you come out the other side as a stronger specialist, with a clear understanding and serenity around the concepts of creativity and innovation. In addition, you filled your toolbox with tools that you can use in your teaching.

The timeframe

The time frame for this workshop will be adapted to suit your requirements and knowledge of the field. Are you already started with the methods of KIE and the Creative Platform, then we will transfer the process further out into the classroom and reach out to the individual student's daily lives.

The workshop addresses

Basically, the workshop "Creativity and innovation in education" is targeted the educational staff, management and parents in the school. It can also be organized to pupils so that they are taken through the creative and innovative courses tailored to their level, age and profession.

Entrepreneurship and enterprise in Education

Workshop

This workshop will give you an insight into the life as an entrepreneur. The purpose is, that you and your students will gain better knowledge of entrepreneurship and the requirements needed to be obtained. You will receive a valuable variety of tools to kick start your teaching and give you the ability to evaluate the business ideas of your students. As in practice to assist in carrying out the entrepreneurial dreams of your students. We focus on the uncertainties that can arise when you teach entrepreneurship in your classroom.
You also get an insight into what enterprise can give to your students and your school. You get tools to identify the huge development potentials and opportunities inherent in the concept of entrepreneurship. Your students can take the concept to heart and apply it in their professional development so that they become more robust and open up new prospects.
You get useful tools to start entrepreneurship and enterprise at your school. You may include it as part of the teaching of all subjects and include concepts from kindergarten to high school
. You will get methods:
• To build a vocabulary from preschool to high school level
• A specific look into teaching entrepreneurship and enterprise from preschool to high school
• To involve the local community, lecturers, companies
• To build up a strong network, including the knowledge of the parents

Duration

Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills in primary and secondary schools is a workshop that takes at least 90 minutes. The time frame set in cooperation with you, so that it will be adapted to the schools that already work with entrepreneurship and enterprise, but need new inspiration, and the schools that are about to embark.
Regardless of duration, participants must expect to serve as active participants, as we base this workshop with hands-on cases supplemented with theoretical presentations.

Learning Fight Club

Workshop

At Learning Fight Club we go in depth with how to become an active part of the students' visible learning process in regards to homework. Through a series of exercises you will receive a specific set of tools that you can use at work already next day. These tools will help you get started with setting visible goals for your participation in the lesson process of homework.
The workshop consists primarily of practical exercises, but is supplemented with theoretical presentations. The aim is to give you motivation, new inspiration and new tools, and combine these with the skills you already have. Additionally, we focus on the accompanied uncertainties that typically follow.
You will be working both practical and theoretical, and you will be challenged in your understanding of what the lesson concept of homework is!

Duration

Learning Fight Club is designed so that it lasts from 90 minutes to 6 hours. The time frame set according to your wishes, it could be used to kickstart a Theme day at your school, or used as a focus point for setting new standards for how to teach and work in regards to students homework.
The part of practical exercises and theoretical presentations will vary depending on the duration and your wishes. As a starting point, we focus on the practical exercises, and you should expect to take active participation and contribution. If you need a workshop of longer duration, there will be several elements of theory, shorter interviews, seasoned with practical tasks and challenges.
Most often, a semi- or full-day workshop include the above as well as the possibility that you and your colleagues will have time and opportunity to put together your own version of the Learning Fight Club that exactly fits the needs you face.

The workshop addresses

Learning Fight Club is primarily aimed at teachers, management, and parents with school-age children, but can also be organized to suit school students. In that case, the children / young people will achieve practical knowledge of the Learning Fight Club concept.

FabLab & Designthinking in Education

Workshop

Do You search for new inspiration into how to combine digital fabrication, design thinking, common ideation and innovation? In which case this is the workshop for You.
In this workshop you will take active part in hands-on activities and learn, how you facilitate the process of FabLab and design thinking in your classroom. Furthermore we review, how this process can strengthen and motivate, your class and each individual student, academically and socially. You will receive specific tools and models on how to apply The FabLab mindset and design thinking in your everyday teaching. FabLab is a model to thinking and involvement of 21st Century skills:
• Critical thinking
• communication and collaboration
• Design and innovation
• complex problemsolving
• technological mastering
• Digital citizenship
Furthermore You wil be given a practical review of the five steps in design thinking:
• Empathize - we seek access to the users situation
• Define - we define the needs and develop a problem statement
• Ideate - we come up with unlimited ideas
• Prototype - we develop physical prototypes
• Test - prototypes are tested and further developed
You will also play an important role in sharing knowledge and use practical theory. In this workshop you will be given specific tasks, to solve on your own or in collaboration with your colleagues/team. Furthermore you will also be given a variety of tools and tasks to take directly into your daily teaching and enjoy straight away.

Time frame

How much time, You need to spend is largely up to You. This workshop can be suited to meet your needs and to the knowledge you already possess on this subject. Basically a workshop lasts min. 90 minutes, but on request this time frame can be expanded.

This workshop is aimed at

FabLab and Design thinking is aimed primarily at the teaching staff, headmasters, but can also be directed to facilitate the parents or as a classroom activity at Your school. Primary and Secondary Schools.
The participants should be prepared to enter exercises and tasks, which should be solved both individually and collaborative. And participants are expected to take active part in these workshop acitivies.

Creativity, Innovation and Evaluation

Innovation and creativity are a part of many of the targets in education, but how can you evaluate whether the objectives have been achieved, whether students have mastered the vocabular and concepts behind the creative and innovative processes? This is exactly what we focus on in this workshop.
In this workshop, "Creativity, Innovation and evaluation" we work with:
